KRLD-FM “Your Sports Station” 105.3 The Fan to Serve as The New Home of The Dallas Cowboys
KRLD-FM,
“Your Sports Station” 105.3 The Fan, announced today a multi-year partnership
with the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas/Fort Worth’s
newest all-sports radio station will serve as the team’s flagship radio property
featuring extensive live coverage of the famed NFC East team. Play-by-play coverage of all pre-season, regular
season and playoff games will be carried on 105.3 The Fan, a CBS RADIO station.
The Fan also will
broadcast exclusive content from Cowboys Owner/General Manager Jerry Jones
twice a week, as well as segments with Head Coach Wade Phillips on-air and
online at www.1053thefan.com. Terms of the agreement were not
disclosed.
KRLD-FM’s
first official Cowboys broadcast will be on Saturday, April 25 from the
team’s draft day party. From
1:00-11:00PM, the station will be on-site at the Arlington Convention Center
providing up to the minute updates on the team’s prospects, fan reaction and
happenings around the NFL. Doors open
for the event at 6:00PM.
Additionally, 105.3 The Fan, will expand the partnership with the
launch of a fully programmed HD Radio multicast channel dedicated to various
Dallas Cowboy shows throughout the year providing the listener with an
exclusive behind the scenes look into the team and the NFL. Listeners with an
upgraded HD Radio for their car or home/office will be able to tune into the
complementary content with crystal clear sound quality which will also be able
to be streamed online from anywhere in the world 24 hours a day 365 days a
year.

popular Jagger Show from 5:30AM
-9:00AM, followed by market veteran Kevin
Scott and former NFL and Texas A&M football player Greg Hill from 9:00AM-12:00PM.
KRLD-FM’s afternoons are anchored by Newy Scruggs and Sean Salisbury from 12:00PM-3:00PM with The Ben and Skin Show along with Tim Cowlishaw on afternoons
3:00PM-7:00PM. Rounding out the day’s
lineup are Pete Stein and Mike Rodriguez from 7:00-10:00PM and
FOX Sports programming beginning at 10:00PM. 105.3 The Fan can be heard each
day online at www.1053thefan.com.
