Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Infinity Broadcasting will present "Infinity Music Connect: Sarah McLachlan," a national broadcast with three-time Grammy Award-winner Sarah McLachlan, from the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, live on Sunday, Oct. 5 (9:00-10:00PM, ET). McLachlan will preview music from her new studio album, "Afterglow," and will field questions from a live audience and listeners across the country on such topics as her time-off, her new music and motherhood.

"Afterglow" is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, Nov. 4 on Arista Records.

"Sarah has received worldwide acclaim for her music and we are thrilled she has chosen Infinity to debut songs from her latest studio album," said Andy Schuon, President, Programming, Infinity Broadcasting. "This is a great opportunity for Infinity listeners to experience the songs of this award-winning artist in advance of her new album release."

The one-hour live performance will include several songs from her upcoming album, including the debut hit single, "Fallen." More than 15 Infinity stations will broadcast the concert, including Chicago's WXRT, San Francisco's KLLC, Boston's WBMX, Cleveland's WQAL, Denver's KIMN, Sacramento's KZZO and Pittsburgh's WZPT, among others. Through a variety of promotions on Infinity stations, listeners will also be able to attend the private concert in Las Vegas.

Sarah McLachlan has sold more than 25 million records worldwide since her recording career began with her debut release, Touch, in 1988. The Sarah-founded Lilith Fair tour brought together 2 million people over its 3 year history and raised more than $7 million for charities. She has been profiled by media the world over, including cover stories for Rolling Stone, Time and Entertainment Weekly. McLachlan was awarded the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Visionary Award in 1998 for advancing the careers of women in music.

The event is produced locally by Las Vegas's KMXB and is co-hosted by the station's afternoon host, Tom Mitchell, and WBMX's Erin O'Malley.
