INFINITY BROADCASTING PRESENTS "INFINITY MUSIC CONNECT: SARAH McLACHLAN" EXCLUSIVELY FOR RADIO LISTENERS ON SUNDAY, OCT. 5 testing
Three-Time Grammy Award-Winner To Perform Material From Her First New Studio Album In Six Years, And Field Questions From Listeners Across The Country
More Than 15 Infinity Stations To Broadcast The Live Event From The Las Vegas

Infinity
Broadcasting will present "Infinity Music Connect: Sarah McLachlan," a national
broadcast with three-time Grammy Award-winner Sarah McLachlan, from the Las
Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, live on Sunday, Oct. 5 (9:00-10:00PM,
ET).
McLachlan will preview music from
her new studio album, "Afterglow," and will field questions from a live
audience and listeners across the country on such topics as her time-off, her
new music and motherhood.
"Afterglow" is
scheduled to be released on Tuesday, Nov. 4 on Arista Records.
"Sarah
has received worldwide acclaim for her music and we are thrilled she has chosen
Infinity to debut songs from her latest studio album," said Andy Schuon,
President, Programming, Infinity Broadcasting.
"This is a great opportunity for Infinity
listeners to experience the songs of this award-winning artist in advance of
her new album release."
The
one-hour live performance will include several songs from her upcoming album,
including the debut hit single, "Fallen."
More than 15 Infinity stations will broadcast the concert, including Chicago's WXRT, San Francisco's
KLLC, Boston's WBMX, Cleveland's
WQAL, Denver's KIMN, Sacramento's
KZZO and Pittsburgh's
WZPT, among others.
Through a variety of
promotions on Infinity stations, listeners will also be able to attend the
private concert in Las Vegas.
Sarah McLachlan
has sold more than 25 million records worldwide since her recording career
began with her debut release, Touch, in 1988.
The Sarah-founded Lilith Fair tour brought together 2 million people
over its 3 year history and raised more than $7 million for charities.
She has been profiled by media the world
over, including cover stories for Rolling Stone, Time and Entertainment
Weekly.
McLachlan was awarded the
Elizabeth Cady Stanton Visionary Award in 1998 for advancing the careers of
women in music.
The event is
produced locally by Las Vegas's
KMXB and is co-hosted by the station's afternoon host, Tom Mitchell, and WBMX's
Erin O'Malley.
