INFINITY BROADCASTING ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE STRUCTURE FOR BOSTON RADIO OPERATIONS


Tony Berardini Named Vice President, Infinity Boston

Mark Hannon Assumes Senior Vice President/General Manager Responsibilities At WBCN And WZLX; Chris Hill Named Senior Vice President/Director Of Sales


Infinity Broadcasting has created a new executive structure for its radio operations in Boston, it was announced today by Joel Hollander, President and Chief Operating Officer, Infinity Broadcasting. The changes are effective immediately.

Tony Berardini, a 27-year company veteran who has served as Vice President/General Manager for WBCN-FM since April 1981 and for WZLX-FM since November 2001, has been named Vice President, Infinity Boston and will report to Hollander. He will be responsible for evaluating and developing market strategy, programming and research, as well as talent development throughout the country, and will continue to manage Infinity's relationship with the New England Patriots.

"Tony's more than two decades of service to Infinity is unmatched," said Hollander. "He has played a key role in the success of WBCN-FM and WZLX-FM making many lasting contributions. We are fortunate to be able to utilize his knowledge and experience to further the growth of the entire Boston market."

Mark Hannon, who previously served as Director of Sales for Infinity's Boston market, will now oversee the day-to-day operations for WBCN-FM and WZLX-FM, in addition to his duties as General Manager at WBMX-FM. Chris Hill, who currently serves as General Sales Manger for WBZ, will succeed Hannon and take on additional responsibilities as Senior Vice President/Director of Sales for the entire market. Ted Jordan will continue in his role as Vice President/General Manager of WBZ and WODS. Hannon, Hill and Jordan will continue to report to Scott Herman, Executive Vice President, Eastern Region, Infinity Broadcasting.

Commenting on the announcement Herman added, "I'm thrilled that we have a veteran senior management team in place in this key market to be able to make a seamless transition."
