TRACY T. GILLIAM NAMED GENERAL SALES MANAGER FOR
INFINITY BROADCASTING'S KRTH-FM
Tracy
T. Gilliam has been named General Sales Manager for Infinity Broadcasting's
KRTH-FM, it was announced today by station Vice
President and General Manager, Maureen Lesourd.
The appointment is effective on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Gilliam will report to Lesourd.
"Tracy has a stellar track
record and her dynamic leadership and sales skills have been heralded by her
colleagues and managers," said Lesourd.
"I'm looking forward to driving K-EARTH's sales effort with Tracy at the helm."
Gilliam
joins KRTH-FM from Premiere Radio Networks where she served as Vice President,
Integrated Business Solutions since August 2003.
She was responsible for creating marketing
platforms which offered clients at the local market level network radio
marketing alliances to promote their products/services.
From
2000-03, Gilliam was Vice President/Market Manager for Clear Channel Radio in Omaha, Neb.
During her tenure, she grew the cluster to
become the No. 1 ratings/revenue generating cluster in the market, created
Turnaround Production L.L.C. to promote and produce local concerts in the
market's only outdoor amphitheater and initiated the acquisition of KEFM.
Previously,
Gilliam was Director of Sales for Capstar Broadcasting (1999), National Sales
Manager, KMOX Radio (1998-99), and held account executive positions at KMOX
Radio (1996-98) and KHITS 96 (1992-94).
She began her career as news reporter for KMOX Radio (1989-92) and later
served as news director /station manager for WQXE-FM in Elizabeth, Ky.
Gilliam
has been honored for her work in the community by the Nebraska Broadcasters
Association (2003) and the Omaha Chamber of Commerce (2001).
She was graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
