PEGGY PANOSH NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING,
INFINITY BROADCASTING
Peggy
Panosh has been named Senior Vice President, Marketing for Infinity Broadcasting, it was announced today by David Goodman,
Executive Vice President, Marketing.
The
appointment is effective on Monday, March 29.
Panosh
had previously served as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications
for Westwood One.
"Peggy
is a highly skilled executive with a proven track record across local and
national platforms," said Goodman.
"Her
experience while steeped in radio transcends to such high profile events,
including the Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl and the NCAA Men's Basketball
Championships.
Peggy will bring a unique
perspective to the organization and will be an invaluable asset in developing
one-of-a-kind marketing opportunities for our stations and advertisers."
From
1997-2004, Panosh oversaw the marketing, promotions, public relations, investor
relations and special events for Westwood One, the largest producer and
distributor of radio programming and content in the nation.
She designed integrated marketing solutions
for a client base of more than 7,500 radio affiliates and 2,500 advertisers and
was a key member of the management team that successfully guided the Company
through a merger with Metro Networks, the country's largest traffic service
provider.
Prior
to joining Westwood One, Panosh was Director of Marketing for Infinity
Broadcasting's WXRK-FM in New York
(1990-97).
She developed marketing
initiatives that resulted in increased awareness of the station, and was
instrumental in rebranding K-Rock from classic rock to modern rock music
format.
Panosh
has also served as marketing manager for Catch A Rising Star, Inc. (1987-90).
Panosh
was graduated from the University
of Wisconsin with a
degree in communications.
She resides in
New York City.
