INFINITY BROADCASTING AND AMERICA ONLINE TO PRESENT WHFS RADIO ONLINE
POPULAR ALTERNATIVE ROCK STATION LAUNCHES ON THE AOLŪ RADIO NETWORK AND WHFS.COM
WHFS Programming Returns To The Air On Nights And Weekends On Infinity Baltimore's Live 105.7 FM Beginning On Friday, Jan. 21
Infinity Broadcasting and America Online today announced the launch of
WHFS.com, a 24-hour, seven day a week audio stream of the former
Infinity alternative rock station. The online radio station will be
available to millions of listeners on the Web at WHFS.com and through
the AOL Radio Network, America Online's leading network of Internet
radio services which include Radio@AOL and Radio@Netscape, beginning on
Friday, Jan. 21. Programming will include new music, archive programming from WHFS and performances from past HFStivals.
99.1 "El Zol" WHFS-FM in Washington, D.C. debuted a Spanish-language format on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Pending regulatory approval, the station will change its call letters to WZLL-FM.

AOL will promote the new station through AOL®City Guide (www.aolcityguide.com) in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, M.D. and on AOL Music (www.aolmusic.com).
In
a related announcement, Infinity Baltimore's FM Talk station, Live
105.7, will also debut "HFS on Live 105.7" weeknights beginning at
7:00PM and all day Saturdays and Sundays beginning on Friday, Jan. 21.
Hosted nightly by Tim Virgin, the exclusive programming will feature
personalities and music previously heard on the station, including
well-known artists Green Day, Depeche Mode and Linkin Park, among
others.
Live 105.7 FM's daytime programs, including
Howard Stern and Don & Mike, will continue to be broadcast in their
regular timeperiod.
