INFINITY BROADCASTING'S NINE ALL-NEWS STATIONS TO OFFER DAILY PODCASTS OF ORIGINAL AND EXCLUSIVE CONTENT
BEGINNING IN JULY

Infinity Broadcasting's nine all-news stations will offer free daily podcasts to its listeners featuring the day's top local and national news, sports, business and entertainment headlines, as well as weather and traffic updates, among other topics, it was announced today by Joel Hollander, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Infinity.

Podcasts will vary in length and include news broadcast on the stations and content developed exclusively for download. New York's 1010 WINS will lead Infinity's initiative beginning in July.

Podcasting technology, first made popular in late 2004, allows users to create and upload their own audio programs on the Internet which can be downloaded to multimedia players at a later date. The software also lets users subscribe to their favorite podcasts and have them sent automatically to their players. In May, Infinity launched the world's first all podcast programmed radio station, KYOURADIO, on San Francisco's KYCY-AM and online at www.KYOURADIO.com. To date, nearly 1000 podcasts have been submitted for broadcast.

"We are increasingly living in an on-demand world, where listeners want to receive our award-winning content via alternative means," said Hollander. "Podcasting, while relatively new, is being adapted by more and more users everyday, and is a perfect complement to our business model."

"What a great year this is for 1010 WINS," said Mark Mason, Vice President, All-News Programming for Infinity, and Program Director for 1010 WINS. "In the midst of celebrating our 40th Anniversary, we began streaming our content around the world. We now look forward to yet another distribution platform designed to inform and entertain busy New Yorkers on the go."

Infinity's all-news stations include 1010 WINS (New York), WCBS-AM (New York), KFWB-AM (Los Angeles), KNX-AM (Los Angeles), WBBM-AM (Chicago), KCBS-AM (San Francisco) KYW-AM (Philadelphia), WBZ-AM (Boston), and WWJ-AM (Detroit). They began online streaming of their programming in March.
