CHRIS OLIVIERO PROMOTED TO VICE PRESIDENT, ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING INFINITY BROADCASTING
Chris
Oliviero has been named Vice President, Original
Programming, Infinity Broadcasting, it was announced
today by Rob Barnett, President of Programming.
The appointment is effective immediately.
In the new position, Oliviero
will play a key role in Infinity's talent search and new format development and
continue to oversee and coordinate execution with all the company's stations.
"Chris is an essential resource to each of Infinity's
180 stations.
His commitment and passion
for great radio empowers us to execute a wave of new ideas at Infinity Original
Programming," commented Barnett.
"It
gives me great pleasure to promote an individual who has been extremely
dedicated and loyal to Infinity over the past nine years."
Oliviero began his career with Infinity in 1996 as an
intern for THE HOWARD STERN SHOW.
Upon
his graduation from New York
University in 1999, Oliviero joined Sportsradio 660AM
WFAN as producer.
In 2000, he was named
Executive Producer for WNEW 102.7FM's morning show.
Oliviero joined
Infinity's corporate office as program coordinator in January 2004, and since
July 2004, has served as Director, Original Programming.
