CBS RADIO and KTWV-FM, the nation’s most listened to smooth jazz radio station, has formed an innovative partnership with one of world’s most renowned artists to create a one-of-a-kind artist branded online destination for smooth jazz enthusiasts. Hosted and programmed by the multi platinum selling musician, “Kenny G’s Radio Station,” WKGRS, offers listeners a unique blend of their favorite smooth jazz artists and tunes and is available worldwide through CBS RADIO’s streaming platform available on AOL Radio and Yahoo! Music’s LAUNCHcast, as well as Kenny G’s website, www.KennyG.com, and via mobile applications, including the iPhone and select Blackberry devices. The station debuted live on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Kenny G’s Radio Station features a rich combination of music from artists such as Sade, David Sanborn, George Benson, Chris Botti, John Legend, Earth Wind and Fire, hundreds of other smooth-sounding artists and Kenny G himself. As the host, Kenny G will introduce a number of the songs which influence and inspire him and share behind the scenes anecdotes and stories about the songs or artists, many of whom are his personal friends.
