INFINITY BROADCASTING ANNOUNCES STATIONS TO FEATURE JAY SEVERIN


Former Political Advisor's Three-Hour Talk Show To Be Broadcast On KRLD-AM, WPHT-AM, WJFK-FM And KMOX-AM


Infinity Broadcasting today announced that four of its stations will broadcast former political advisor Jay Severin's three-hour weekday talk show. KRLD-AM in Dallas, WPHT-AM in Philadelphia, WJFK-FM in Washington, D.C., and KMOX-AM in St. Louis will premiere Severin's show on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. (check local listings for program times)

The show will be a smart, fast, thoughtful, provocative, high-energy insight and opinion program on the hottest issues of the moment, including challenging one-on-one discussions with listeners.

For 20 years, Severin was in private practice as a national political and media consultant, advising candidates and incumbents in major campaigns for Governor, U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and President. He currently hosts a top-rated afternoon drive program in Boston.

Severin is a former MSNBC political advisor, appearing frequently on various NBC News programs, and also was a featured columnist for MSNBC.com. His extensive media work also includes contributions to the BBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, CNBC, CNN, and foreign television networks in Ireland, Japan and Australia, as well as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Newsweek and Business Week. He has authored op-ed articles for the New York Times, Boston Globe and San Francisco Chronicle, and is a frequent guest on the "IMUS IN THE MORNING" radio program.

Severin was a 2004 nominee for the Marconi Award for Radio Personality of the Year, the radio industry's highest distinction.

Severin spent considerable time during his teenage years engaged in the Vietnam era war protests with his early political/media mentors Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin. He currently resides in his family's Sag Harbor home.
