INFINITY BROADCASTING PROMOTES CHARLIE QUINN

TO VICE PRESIDENT, AC FORMAT


Infinity Broadcasting has named Charlie Quinn Vice President, AC Format, it was announced today by Greg Strassell, Senior Vice President, Programming. The appointment is effective immediately.     "It gives me great pleasure to promote Charlie. For the past six years, he has done a remarkable job programming San Diego's KYXY" said Strassell. "I am certain he will excel in his new position and continue to demonstrate superior programming skills overseeing Infinity's AC stations."

Quinn replaces Smokey Rivers who left the company in October. He will continue in his current position as Operations Manager for KYXY-FM and KSCF-FM in San Diego. He has been with the company since July 1999. In his new role, Quinn will coordinate programming and product development for the Company's 16 Mainstream AC stations which include heritage stations: KVIL-FM in Dallas, WLTE-FM in Minneapolis, KEZK-FM in St Louis and WDOK-FM in Cleveland.

    Quinn has over 25 years of radio experience programming Adult Contemporary, Adult CHR, Country and Rock stations including WROK-AM/WZOK-FM in Rockford, Ill. (1980-83), KZZP-FM in Phoenix (1983-85), WEGX-FM in Philadelphia (1987-1990), and WRVW-FM in Nashville (1994-97). He started his radio career in 1976 as a Music Director and On-Air personality with WGBF-AM in Evansville, IN. He attended Indiana University and currently resides in San Diego.
