Jeff Federman To Serve As Market Manager, CBS Radio Los Angeles
KTWV-FM's Dan Weiner Named Cluster's Director Of Sales
Jeff Federman, who currently serves as Vice
President and General Manager of 93.1 JACK FM (KCBS-FM) and
Director of Sales for CBS RADIO's seven stations in Los
Angeles, will take on the new responsibility of Market Manager,
overseeing the operations of the aforementioned properties, it
was announced today by Brian Ongaro, Executive Vice President,
Western Region, CBS RADIO. Federman will continue in his role at
JACK FM.
In a related announcement, Dan Weiner, Vice
President and General Manager of 94.7 The WAVE, has been named
Director of Sales for CBS RADIO Los Angeles. He has been with
the station since June 2004 and will maintain his executive
management position. Both appointments are effective
immediately.
CBS RADIO owns and operates KCBS-FM, KFWB-AM,
KLSX-FM, KNX-AM, KROQ-FM, KRTH-FM and KTWV-FM in Los Angeles.

among our portfolio some of the best known brands in the business
all of which are well positioned for continued success in the
future. Jeff and Dan have been, and will continue to be,
invaluable to the cluster, and I am pleased to be able to elevate
them into these positions."
Federman joined CBS in January 2004 from Emmis Communications
where he served as Vice President and Director of Sales for the
company's two radio stations in Los Angeles, KPWR-FM and
KZLA-FM, for almost five years. During his tenure, he oversaw
all sales operations and also was responsible for many of the
stations day-to-day operations.
Federman also worked as Sales Manager for KBIG-FM and KLAC-AM
in Los Angeles (1996-99). Prior to that, he was Director, Sales
and Marketing for CBS RADIO's KROQ-FM (1995) where he
served as the liaison between the sales, programming and
promotion departments. From 1992 to 1995, Federman was National
Sales Manager for KFMB-AM/FM in San Diego. He began his career
at KKLQ-AM/FM in San Diego where he served in various capacities,
including account executive, National Sales Manager and
Marketing/Promotion Director from 1988 to 1992. Federman was
born and raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in
Calabasas. He was graduated in 1988 with a degree in journalism
and advertising from San Diego State University.
Weiner joined CBS RADIO from Clear Channel where he served as
Station Manager for KLAC and XTRA Sports (2003-04). He was
responsible for the programming, marketing and sales departments,
as well as play-by-play properties including the Lakers,
Clippers, Avengers, UCLA Bruins and Oakland Raiders. Prior to
being named Station Manager, Weiner served as Director of Sales
(2000-03) and created advertising and branding campaigns using
radio, in-arena signage, in-store promotion and the internet.
He began his radio career in 1994 at Christal Radio (Katz
Media Group), and, in 1996, he joined Chancellor's KZLA and
KLAC. He later went to work at AM/FM as National Sales Manager,
and also served in the same capacity for KBIG/KLAC (1997-98). He
was later named Local Sales Manager, a position he held for two
years. Weiner graduated with honors from the University of
California, San Diego in 1989. He resides in Calabasas with his
family.
