Michael Oringer Joins CBS Radio's Marketing Division As General Sales Manager Of The Altitude Group
Former Coca-Cola Executive To Oversee Sales Efforts of CBS RADIO's Integrated Marketing And Digital Media Units
CBS RADIO today announced Michael Oringer as Senior Vice
President/General Sales Manager of the Altitude Group, the Company's
integrated marketing division. He also will have oversight of CBS
RADIO's digital media sales, including the Company's Internet
properties, and streaming and podcasting efforts. The appointment is
effective immediately. He will be based in New York and report to David
Goodman, President of Marketing.

utilizing a variety of touchpoints. His expertise in this area, coupled
with his ability to successfully manage a cross-functional sales team,
will be invaluable as we continue to focus on creating
advertiser-friendly programs utilizing CBS RADIO's litany of assets."
The Altitude Group's extensive team of dedicated marketing and sales
specialists attract blue chip advertisers to CBS RADIO given their
unique approach of weaving clients' brands into the DNA of station
assets through multi-platform campaigns, and ability to build creative
connections to the consumer. The Altitude Group is led by Executive
Vice President, Rich Lobel.
One of the largest major-market operators in the United States, CBS
RADIO operates 179 radio stations across the country. Audio streams of
more than 75 CBS RADIO stations and custom channels are currently
available online, and in excess of 100 regularly scheduled podcasts are
offered through the Company's news and news/talk stations.
Prior to joining CBS RADIO, Oringer had a more than 15-year career
with Coca-Cola most recently serving as Director of Marketing for the
Northeast Region (1/05-5/06). He began his tenure with Coca-Cola in
1989 and served in a variety of executive management positions with
increasing responsibility, including National Accounts Manager,
Coca-Cola Fountain (1990-92), Director of Marketing, Coca-Cola Bottling
Company of New York (1993-97), Vice President of Marketing, New York
Division, Coca-Cola Enterprises (1999-2001) and Director of Marketing,
New York Division, Coca-Cola North America (2001-04), among others.
As a member of the executive team for Coca-Cola North America,
Oringer was responsible for the strategic development and
implementation of the division's annual marketing plans, and executed
consumer and customer programs tied to global and regional properties,
including, but not limited to, the NBA, the Olympic Games and the New
York Yankees.
Oringer began his career at Procter and Gamble Distributing where he
had oversight of the marketing and sales volume of the Division's
products to New York Metro chains, wholesalers, warehouses and
independents. He also was responsible for the introduction of several
new brands and line extensions.
Oringer was graduated from Cornell University with a degree in consumer economics.
