The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that the team has
renewed their agreement, a multi-year deal, to air all its games
on WSCR-AM 670. The package includes one pre-season game, all 82
regular season games, plus all playoff games.
"We are very pleased to continue to air our games on
WSCR," said Blackhawks Vice President Peter R. Wirtz.
"We're excited to work with Paul Agase and Mitch
Rosen who are both big Blackhawk fans. Keeping our games on the
Score provides our fans with the continuity of where we are on
the radio dial and continues our relationship with
Chicago's premier Sports Radio Station."
"We are thrilled to be the flagship radio station for
the Blackhawks and are looking forward to an exciting
season," said Paul Agase, Vice President and General
Manager, WSCR-AM "670 The Score".
The Blackhawks and WSCR will continue to provide fans with a
10 minute pre-game show for all games, a 15 minute post-game show
for all road games, and a 30 minute post-game show for all home
games.
This season's broadcast will feature the new broadcast
team of John Wiedeman calling the play-by-play and Troy Murray
providing game analysis.
