CBS RADIO Wins Buzz Award
CBS RADIO has been honored with an Adweek Magazines
2006 Buzz Award for its outstanding brand integration of AOL into
an on-air radio program. The award was presented at The Next Big
Idea Conference held in New York City on Thursday, Sept.
14.
The campaign, which runs on all 179 CBS RADIO
stations, entertains and informs listeners while seamlessly
promoting AOL's resources and content, including its
Moviefone and Cityguide sites. Stations have the opportunity to
creatively customize the ad copy to suit their individual format
and listener preferences.
CBS RADIO and AOL formed this unique marketing alliance in
April 2003. The campaign is executed by CBS RADIO's
Altitude Group.
The Buzz Awards were judged by a panel of
senior-level agency, media and brand marketing executives based
on their creativity, execution and results in reaching stated
objective and/or business challenge.
