CBS Radio Launches Streaming Audio Of WRZK-FM Marking The Online Debut Of Its 100th Station.
CBS RADIO today launched live streaming audio of WRKZ-FM in
Pittsburgh bringing the total number of CBS RADIO stations
broadcasting online to 100. With this announcement, CBS RADIO
now streams more than 70%* of its stations online. "The
Rock of Pittsburgh" can be found by logging on to www.937krock.com.
Extending its audio content to an online platform is an ongoing
initiative that CBS RADIO began with the launch of the streams of its
all-news stations in March 2005. To date, CBS RADIO has amassed close
to four million registered users of the Company's online properties.
In addition to its primary over-the-air stations, CBS RADIO
streams several of its HD2 channels, and has created a number of
customized stations exclusively for the Internet, including
KROCK2 (alternative rock; www.krock2.com) and KINK Acoustic and
KINK New Music (Triple A; www.kink.fm), among others. A complete
