WWJ Newsradio 950 was awarded its first National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) Crystal Radio Award today at the NAB Show Radio luncheon in Las Vegas, NV. The NAB Crystal Awards recognize radio stations for their year-round commitment to community service.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the National Association of Broadcasters with this prestigious award. There are a number of groups and organizations doing great things in and around Detroit. WWJ-AM was one of fifty NAB Crystal Radio Award finalists selected in February by a panel of judges representing broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms. Ten winners were chosen among 50 finalists at the NAB Show Radio.
