CBS RADIO today announced its interactive
Radio.com platform is now available as a free mobile application on iPhone
devices.  The application offers access
to audio streams of CBS RADIO’s over 200 music, news, sports and talk stations
and custom channels, along with a full complement of music offerings from AOL
Radio and Yahoo! Music.

This latest addition to CBS RADIO’s
stable of mobile properties, that have been downloaded in excess of 17 million
times, was developed by the CBS Interactive Music Group and follows the
Radio.com app for iPad recently being honored with an Advertising Age Media Vanguard Award.

With more than 20 genres and 600+
professionally programmed stations to choose from, Radio.com offers listeners
the most robust lineup of listening options.
Among the most popular stations available are sports legend WFAN in New
York, the World Famous KROQ-FM in Los Angeles, WXRT-FM, Chicago’s Finest Rock
station, as well as Last.fm Discover, Yahoo!’s Today’s Big Hits and AOL’s Top
Country.

Additionally, iPhone apps powered
by Radio.com for AOL Radio and Yahoo! Music Radio have also been redesigned and
upgraded with more functionality and unique features.  Since 2008, CBS RADIO has maintained exclusive
distribution and sales agreements for AOL and Yahoo!’s streaming music
properties.

Also beginning today, CBS RADIO has
initiated a number of dynamic advertiser opportunities that can be served on
all iPhone applications with myriad targeting options.  From full screen ad units, to banners on the
now playing display, and including rich media creative, all advertiser messages
are clickable and interactive and refreshed upon user interaction with the
apps. Clients can tailor their message based on station, genre or location.

Features of the new applications
include:

▪ Background streaming: the new
apps take full advantage of the ability to multitask and stream audio while
playing games, checking email, or browsing the web;

▪ Skip counter: for interactive
stations programmed by AOL and Yahoo! Music where listeners have the option to skip
songs, the new app tracks the users interaction with the music and lets them
know when they’ve exceed the predetermined limit (six) per hour;

▪ Tag stations/songs as favorites,
making it easier to recall your top-rated channels or purchase an individual
tune for download;
▪ Share stations with friends
through e-mail and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter;
