CBS RADIO today announced Tim
Pohlman as Senior Vice President/Market Manager of CBS RADIO’s operations in Phoenix (KMLE-FM,
KOOL-FM, KZON-FM). This marks a return
to CBS RADIO for Pohlman who has previously worked for the CBS division’s
stations in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. He will report to Scott Herman, Executive
Vice President, Operations, CBS RADIO, and begin his new responsibilities

years and I always respected his commitment to excellence,” said Herman. “He is a dynamic leader who inspires those he
works with. I anticipate great things
from Tim and know he will contribute immensely to our cluster of stations in Phoenix.”
Pohlman returns to CBS RADIO from
Riviera Broadcast Group where he was Managing Partner and CEO overseeing the
company’s four FM properties in Phoenix and Las Vegas. He previously was Market Manager for CBS
RADIO Los Angeles,
and also served as Vice President/General Manager for The Wave (KTWV-FM) prior
to that, and Director of Sales for KFWB-AM and KTWV.
His career with CBS/Group W started
in the early 90’s when he was Director of Sales for WCXR-FM and WCPT-AM in Washington, D.C. He also has had stints at WWMG-FM in Charlotte, WFOX-FM in Atlanta,
and WHIO-AM/FM in Dayton, Ohio.
Pohlman was graduated from the University of Dayton where he played four years on the
Division I school’s basketball team.
