hosting the program.

“ACOUSTIC
SUNRISE offers
CBS RADIO an inspiring and intimate opportunity to delve into our vast library
of archives and play rare, exclusive and acoustic tracks which we have been gathering
for more than a decade,” said Greg Strassell, Senior Vice President,
Programming of CBS RADIO.  “ACOUSTIC SUNRISE is a quality
program with a rich and extensive history with the Company, and the program’s playlist
serves as the perfect complement to a lazy, relaxing Sunday morning.”

Dan O’Brien
began ACOUSTIC SUNRISE in 1995 at CBS RADIO’s
WPBZ, The Buzz, in West Palm Beach,
Florida.  The show migrated
to Boston’s
WBMX in March of 1997, where it has been a weekly staple of Sunday mornings and
continued to be a strong performer in both the Arbitron diary and PPM ratings
services.  O’Brien, who has hosted more than 650 consecutive weekly shows,
has collected numerous rare acoustic performances over the years which he plays
on the diverse program.
