In this newly created position, Leisengang will work primarily with the company’s top 10 markets to cultivate non-traditional revenue prospects with a focus on event driven opportunities.  In addition, she will create new properties, outlets and ways for the company’s stations to sell their assets in an inventive fashion.  In particular, Leisengang will be instrumental in helping to create prominent annual concerts, business breakfast series and other off-air revenue generating events.

Of the appointment, Weiss says “Helen is well known in the industry for her proficiency in finding income in non-traditional ways, and she will be an asset to CBS RADIO’s bottom line.  She is an influential resource who has helped produce some of the biggest and most distinguished NTR events in the country and we look forward to her event marketing expertise.”

Leisengang joins CBS RADIO having previously spent over nine years working with Clear Channel Communication’s Z100 in New York from 2000-2009, where she focused on creating and selling local and national NTR programs and events.  Prior to her work at Clear Channel, from 1997-2000 Leisengang was General Manager for Emporio Armani’s New York Flagship store, where she oversaw 100 employees in sales and merchandising.  She began her career in 1989 as a General Manager for Jaeger International, a position she held for seven years, before moving to New York in 1996.
