CBS RADIO announced today it has named Kerry Tucker Vice President, Strategic Sales. She joins the division from the Radio Advertising Bureau where she has been Senior Vice President, National Marketing since October 2005. The appointment is effective on Friday, Feb. 1.
Tucker will be responsible for national sales for 140 on-air stations and a variety of digital assets as part of a member of the Altitude Group, CBS RADIO’s integrated marketing department. She reports to Rich Lobel, Executive Vice President of the Group.

As Senior Vice President at the RAB, Tucker worked closely with a number of advertisers to provide solutions using radio assets. She created transformative ideas for national marketers to increase their investment in radio advertising, and managed the execution of these ideas from conception through implementation. Tucker joined the organization in April 2004 and initially worked to advance the power of radio to advertisers and advertising agencies and was instrumental in creating the New York Radio Forum which launched in March 2005.
Prior to that, Tucker was Director, Sales and Marketing for the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) (2003-04) directing business plans for consumer and B2B magazines, as well as advertiser/advertising agencies and interactive divisions, and held the title of Marketing and Sales Manager, Advertisers and Advertising Agencies from 2000-03.
Tucker also has experience working for The Golfer, Racquet and Sporting Life magazines (1996-2000). She was graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in English and textual studies. Tucker is a member of Advertising Women of NY, the Advertising Club of NY and AWRT, and was honored as one of Radio Ink magazine’s Women to Watch in 2007.
