November brings new releases from one of the most recognized artists in the music industry today along with a band audiences have embraced for decades.  CBS RADIO and AT&T blue room are honored to bring Jay-Z and Duran Duran to audiences nationwide through interviews and special fan offerings. 


Jay-Z and Duran Duran will be featured on CBS RADIO stations across the country and online at discussing their new albums, and upcoming tours.  Through a combination of on air and online video programming and interviews, exclusive content and original fan prizes, CBS RADIO and the AT&T blue room offer enthusiasts an enhanced way to watch and listen to their favorite artists. 


Jay-Z, the award-winning and multi platinum hip-hop artist who has sold over 33 million albums in his career, is adding another title to his discography.  Arriving in stores on Tuesday, Nov. 6, Jay-Z’s newest CD, American Gangster, will be propelled by legions of eager fans, a new single “Blue Magic,” an upcoming concert that sold out in under a minute, as well as a blockbuster movie of the same name.  The musician, philanthropist, and entrepreneur will be featured on many CBS RADIO stations from Nov. 5- 18, and listeners and fans will have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve Weekend in addition to exclusive entrance to the grand opening of Jay-Z’s new 40/40 Club in Las Vegas.  One grand prize winner will get the chance to see Jay-Z on tour in his hometown of New York City.


Duran Duran, the Grammy winning musicians who took the United States by storm in the 1980s with their popular dance songs and creative music videos are back on the music scene in 2007.  On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Duran Duran deliver their long awaited new CD, entitled Red Carpet Massacre.  The band’s latest CD features the talent of both Timbaland and Justin Timberlake, who serve as producers, writers and singers on several of the tracks.  “Falling Down” will be the group’s first single from Red Carpet Massacre.  CBS RADIO will showcase Duran Duran on numerous stations from Nov. 19- Dec. 2.  Fans will have the opportunity to win a trip to Austin, Texas to join the band for their sound check party and a meet and greet.
